I have been struggling to learn Korean for about 4 years now. I know the basics but I needed more. Where I live there are not a lot of non-expensive resources for me to use. I have almost every Korean book on the market and have spent money on online classes only to end up frustrated. I have been looking for a tutor that will actually take the time to help me understand and progress with my Korean studies. Smarter Korean is just the place for that! Nathan has been the best Korean teacher I've had since I've started learning Korean three years ago (while living in Korea). It's so comfortable being able to fully express myself if I'm not understanding a grammar point or concept and getting a clear and direct answer/explanation. While they can be challenging, classes are fun, interactive, flexible, and engaging. I love the private and personalized setups via Padlet and Google Classroom. And I love that there are actual homework assignments that have real instructions and aren't as open-ended as a lot of 'adult tutoring sessions' tend to make lessons. And the most important part to me is, my confidence in speaking is growing more with every class because Nathan has curated such a safe, encouraging, and open space in our class.

I saw the amazing reviews on this page and other Facebook groups before I decided to take a trial class myself, but I still kept my expectations low when I booked. Within the half-hour trial, I knew that signing up for more classes would be worth all the time, all~ the money, and all~~~ the experience lol.
